“Natural” materials are on everyone’s lips – and the resurgence of the regenerative, CO2-neutral resource wood is a hot topic. Our answer to this trend lies in the combination of tradition and innovation; that is, in merging what we know best with new, innovative materials and techniques. One example of this the aerowood® lightweight board, which provides the perfect solution to meet the requirements of low weight, regenerativity and resource saving. In a similar vein, our Retro-Flex bed slats prove that wood is still the superior solution for bed base design.
As part of this year’s German Design Award, we were selected from over 5,000 international submissions to receive two “Excellent Product Design” accolades. The award ceremony, which took place on 7 February, 2020 in Frankfurt/Main, was held under the motto of sustainability, resource conservation and circular economy.
