DUROSOFT
Double lamella
A bed underspringing system should adjust automatically and immediately to any change in a sleeping person’s body position.
Our DUROSOFT double lamella meets this requirement in an optimal and flexible manner by being simultaneously hard (“duro”) and soft. The soft upper lamella is extremely elastic, allowing the shoulders to sink in deeply in a side-on position. In the pelvic and back zones, the lower lamella provides support to make sure that the body does not sag too deep into the mattress.
Retro-Flex
Bed slat as optimised mattress suspension
Retro – A return to using wood as a sustainable and proven material, but in a new combination. Our Retro-Flex flexible bed slat combines the favourable qualities of two high grade wood varieties: thermally treated ash veneer on the upper side and beech rotary cut veneer as supporting material.
The low level of reactivity to moisture of the thermal ash confers the entire bed slat its high dimensional stability. Coated with resin, the ring pores of the ash are silvery in appearance, giving every Retro-Flex bed slat a unique, refined look.
Tried and tested for decades, beech veneer is used as base material. Proving its outstanding resistance to bending, this hard and homogeneous wood provides a stable and flexible foundation for your sleep.
In May 2019, the top-class international jury at Cologne’s interzum trade fair honoured our Retro-Flex bed slat with the “Best of the Best” award, commending its degree of innovation, material quality, design, functionality and sustainability. In February 2020, the German Design Council honoured Retro-Flex bed slats with the German Design Award 2020.
FLEXIBLE BED SLATS

Where flexible bed slats are not required to meet the high performance requirements of beech slats, and where cost is an important factor, we can produce flexible birch bed slats at our Russian partner facility.
Birch slats can also be ordered in pallets. Please note that delivery times from Russia are longer. If you require your goods urgently, we can produce substitute deliveries at short notice in Austria applying the same conditions as for beech slats.
