New products were assessed by an international jury of design and architecture experts with regard to their degree of innovation, material quality, design, functionality and sustainability. With 1800 exhibitors from 60 countries, 260 submissions and 12 Best of the Best awards to be won, we were thrilled that our laminated and plywood solutions managed to win over the expert jury not once, but TWICE.

Retro - A return to using wood as a sustainable, proven high-grade material, but in a new arrangement. Our Retro-Flex spring slat combines the favourable qualities of two wood varieties: thermally treated ash veneer on the upper side and beech rotary cut veneer as the base material for a good night’s sleep. The silvery ring pores of the ash give every Retro-Flex bed slat a unique natural look.

The interzum fair, which was held in Cologne from 21 – 24 May 2019, is the leading international trade fair for furniture production and interiors. It serves as a trendsetter and innovation driver for industry, trade and retail. There, we presented our entire range of flexible bed slats for underspringing systems and our new patented lightweight board, aerowood®, to an expert audience.
